LORE SUMMARY
The ARTIST SMP is very story-driven, with lots of previous lore.
Here is the summarized version of it's events..
One day, there was the SMP. There lived the natives, and soon the amnesiacs, who had appeared suddenly and without warning. Most of these newcomers would live in a town they named Villaj.
A wedding would lead to a trial, which lead to the formation of government. However the authority was opposed by a group of rebels, which would spark a great war. Both sides ended up in the same position, trapped underground for weeks. Only one of the seven would emerge without a death.
There was peace, with the addition of some newcomers. But it did not last, as a hidden villain would lead many of his unsuspecting allies into granting him the greatest power the server held. Harnessing it, he would conspire to kill the land's god and bring 'peace' as he thought it were. In the end, he would only hurt his allies and himself, and his hubris would cost his own life.
Peace prevails once more, but chaos comes in batches; in deaths of the beloved, the resurrection of the once great villain, and the hope for the amnesiacs to escape the SMP always on the horizon.. but always out of reach.

A: Applications are not open as of now. There are no specific requirements that guarantee you into the server (aside from being a Minecraft artist).
Q: Why can't people go to the end?
A: For now it is off-limits, but may be opened at a later date.
